AC/E is supporting the participation of the Spanish group PostClassical Ensemble, whose programme entitled Iberian Mystics: The Confluence of Faiths showcasing Spain’s rich culture through music, literature and the visual arts during the centuries that Christianity, Judaism and Islam coexisted on the peninsula, marks the celebration of the Fifth Centenary of Teresa of Ávila. It features traditional flamenco and music by Tomás Luis de Victoria, Manuel de Falla and Joaquín Nin Culmell, as well as Sephardic melodies and music of al-Andalus, Muslim Spain. The multimedia theatre production includes a visual presentation created by Peter Bogdanov.
