Tingitana. Festival de las Culturas es un evento multicultural y multidisciplinar que celebra su primera edición en 2015 en la Ciudad Autónoma de Ceuta. La cita es del 3 al 6 de septiembre, en torno al día de la conmemoración de la Autonomía.
Tingitana. Festival de las Culturas is a multicultural and multidisciplinary event that is being held for the first time in 2015 in the Autonomous City of Ceuta. It runs from 3 to 6 September, around the day that commemorates Ceuta’s autonomy.
The aim of the festival is to enhance the city’s multicultural nature and encourage integration and coexistence through leisure and culture. Its activities are free of charge and open to all audiences, and the programme is geared to girls, boys and adults, locals and foreigners from all cultures. The scheduled activities include exhibitions, workshops, films, a children’s area, a craft market, literature, fashion, storytelling , forums, chats, street entertainment, cuisine and concerts … with coexistence as the theme in order to provide a multicultural environment with something for all family members.
AC/E is collaborating with Tingitana through the Visitors programme by supporting the participation of programmers of cultural organisations and festivals, especially from Morocco: Arnoud Monnier (FEDELIMA, France), Yolanda Agudo López (Asoc. Cult. LA FABRICA DE LAS IDEAS, Morocco), Luis Fernandes (d'Orfeu Associaçâo Cultural, Portugal), Maha Raissouni (ACETRE CONSULTING, Morocco), Silvia Coarelli (TABADOUL, Morocco) and Beatriz Villanueva Penas (TANGIERS JAZZ FESTIVAL, Morocco).
