functions—research, exhibition and dissemination of heritage for the purposes of study- ing, education and entertainment—contributes with its activity to promoting the work of artists, groups, scholars and intellectuals in this part of the country.
In this respect, the project Ideas K (25 June–11 September 2011) was a marvellous combination of the magnificent work produced by this artist, a survey of his oeuvre from the 1980s to the present day which, with the bold approach of the curator Gloria Moure and her productive relationship with the architectural space in the design and installa- tion processes, as well as her joint management efforts together with the members of
the MUSAC’s team, we have managed to take beyond the rooms of the MUSAC. Our
firm commitment and the support of AC/E (Acción Cultural Española) will ensure that this exhibition is not only reflected in a publication but can also travel to other museums both in Spain—Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Alicante (MACA)—and in the neighbour-
ing Portugal—Centro de Arte Contemporânea Graça Morais, Bragança, reaching a larger and broader audience. All this attests to the positive reception this exhibition has had from critics and viewers alike and also highlights, even disseminating, the importance of Fernando Sinaga as an artist.
