El Neobotijo surge a partir de la idea de redefinir formal y conceptualmente una pieza tan tradicional en la imaginería popular como es la del botijo, para adaptarla a una estética y a unos usos actuales. Para ello, se ha fusionado con el conocido brik de leche: se ha tomado del primero su característico pitorro e integrado su tradicional asa —hasta convertirla en un orificio central— a una pieza prismática y limpia que aprovecha el espacio tanto a la hora de su utilización en la mesa como de su colocación en la nevera.
The Neobotijo emerged from the idea of redesigning the form and concept of so traditional an element of folklore as is the botijo, to adapt it to modern tastes and needs. The result is the fusion of the traditional botijo, from which comes the characteristic spout and the traditional handle—even turning it into a central orifice— with a clean, prismatic object that saves space whether used on the table or stored in the refrigerator.
