Erotic Erosion
Time is crumbling and its erosion has caused desire to disinte- grate. Indifference, weariness and an unnoticed eroticism that emerges, intermingled like a breeze. A breath that is given to us to come out of itself in pursuit of the mythical kiss. An encoun- ter with disagreement and error of the erratic, a proposal without response and nothingness as a backdrop.
Breath and spirit recover following this reflection and the biased view of the other gaze reappears once again. What is your wound, darling?1 None. My life is transparent.
Disguise is now our new skin. A reincarnated protection that clothes us and protects us from the encounter by causing us to live our lives out of sync, without proper order, only as if a dream, a dance and a crossing of projections. Nothing without anything. In this state of despondency otherness is the phantom, the last adventure vis-à-vis an impossible return. Emptied of conviction, feverish, I go over the moment as that abrasive place which has been worn down by a nothing. Is everything irrele- vant and the transaction repeated in each new encounter?
Exchange is no longer possible and erosion remains as the trace of failed communication. Chafing, friction, acid disagreements, caustic replies and integrated rejections adorned with good manners. Our chemical and mechanical erosion has finally blended into the erotic mixture of clothing and varnish.
The unsolicited reply is a futile task and the acid stain without paint again becomes counter-sculpture.
