The tortuous geography of a wound is the enigmatic emblem of a renewed mythical setting and the cause of an inner calm that has made it possible to find remedies and map out routes which seek to transform pain into healing.
The dark period of convalescence, essential defencelessness, deep depression and rest are states of the castaway in his attempt to rebuild his mental shield and finally find consolation for deep despondency. Heart veiled by a ray, incurable ailment which separates the sufferer from the world, overwhelmed by the fantasy and delirium which drives away the burning tongue that moistens the eyelids.
Unfathomable ailment which is only acquired by the dispropor- tionate desire to see. A desire similar to that which drove Actaeon to a vision beside himself and which brought him miracle and damnation simultaneously. An epiphany unleashed in an abrasive spattering which turned the hunter into the deer, led by stags following an indecipherable geometrical path.
Striated vision of he who looks beyond himself to the point of abandoning himself in pursuing the impulse of an obstinate blood which only wishes to convert itself in what it is. Madness of he who does not hesitate to ascend until blinding himself in what wounds, runs fast and kills. Dismemberment and annihilation through hypnotic adoration of an eternity reflected in a self- engrossed circle. Death in the eyes is the dark reflection of the other’s desire, sore and implacable combustion that gives off a smoke which scents that in which we are finally converted.
