En la tradición ceramista existen los platos de engaño, reproducciones fidedignas
de frutas y comida. Úbeda y Mañosa reinterpretando esa tipología han ideado una completa serie de «tapas» típicas españolas en cerámica, para poder anunciarlas en los mostradores de los bares. Como las réplicas en plástico de los restaurantes japoneses, pero a la española.
Dishes that trick you, with faithful reproductions of fruit and food, form part of the ceramic tradition. Úbeda y Mañosa have reworked this idea to come up with a whole series of Spanish tapas in ceramics for use in bars’ display cases to let people know what is available. Like the plastic replicas in Japanese restaurants, but Spanish-style.
