The second edition of the Actions for New Musicians project aims to promote the professional career of new talents emerging from the classrooms of Taller de Músics ESEM and is organized by Taller de Músics and Acción Cultural Española. For this, five specific actions have been designed through which the selected students will have the opportunity to enrich their training: they will work in artistic residency and share the stage with musicians of the stature of Chano Domínguez and Perico Sambeat; they will participate in seminars and festivals such as Fara Music (Italy) and Sedajazz (Valencia); one of the musical projects that were part of the 2020 Talent Festival will be selected for a tour in Spanish territory; lastly, students will explore the field of electronic music. The different actions that the project proposes want to influence the contemporary music scene, where new artists can be recognized by the public in a professional music circuit at national and international level.
CREATION AND EXCHANGE ACTION:
JAZZ WITH PERICO SAMBEAT
The project started in September with Perico Sambeat, one of the most important Spanish jazz saxophonists in Spain. With more than 30 years of professional experience and more than twenty-five albums as a leader. Perico Sambeat gave a workshop in September with students from Taller de Músics ESEM and then the students Alba Morena, Marta Duran, Héctor Tejedo, Álvaro Imperial, Pol Leiva, Pere Alcon, Llorenç Colomar and Armand Noguera worked with him the different compositions of his repertoire . Finally, there is an exchange with Creative Music of Madrid in May 2021 and the project is presented in a room in the capital.
Perico works with selected students once a month.

FLAMENCO-JAZZ WITH CHANO DOMÍNGUEZ
From November 18 to 30, the call was opened for students who wanted to work in residence with Chano Domínguez. The residency takes place on February 15, 16 and 17 + March 1,2 and 3.

ELECTRONIC MUSIC WITH CORA NOVOA
Call for the exploration of electronic music, which opened on December 4 and won the artist Cora Novoa. The Sónar festival will be one of the stages of the electronic music show of this artist with artificial intelligence. if it finally takes place in July 2021.
Between February 18 - 26, the call for students will open again.
Mid-March: the artist, the collaboration with Sónar, and the involvement of artificial intelligence in the project are publicly announced.
PROMOTIONAL ACTION:
TALENT AWARD
Saxophonist Pablo Martín was the winner of the first Talent Award and will have the opportunity to present his project State of the trio, on a tour of different national venues during the spring-summer of 2021, together with Kike Pérez on drums and Héctor Tejedo on the double bass. The Circuit of theaters will be developed between January and February 2021.

It is planned to develop, whenever the pandemic allows it, three training actions with national and international projection. Participants will attend three seminars in July 2021: Fara Music (Italy), Sedajazz (Valencia), among others. These calls will open in May 2021.
There is also an exchange action with the Creative Music school of Madrid led by the saxophonist Perico Sambeat.
