At Acción Cultural Española, we promote talent through two types of residencies:
Residencies provide creators and cultural professionals with the appropriate space, time, and resources to develop their work through reflection. At the same time, they promote contact with other cultures and foster the creation of international networks, which are essential in today’s cultural environment.
The AC/E Residency Program is carried out through our collaboration with prestigious international centers, featuring public and open calls. Each of these calls has its own terms and conditions, specifying the requirements to be met by applicants and the conditions offered by each residency. These calls are published on our website as they arise.
Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) offers support for residencies through the Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE).
The PICE program, in its National Residencies category, is exclusively aimed at Spanish entities and institutions—both public and private—that organize residencies and have already completed the selection process for their residents prior to submitting the application.
If you are an institution interested in applying for this support or would like to learn more about the open calls for the PICE program:
