AC/E Announces the Rijksakademie 2027 Residency Call and Reaffirms Support for Spanish Talent

Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) informs about the opening of the application period for the Residencies at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam, which will take place from January to December 2027, with the possibility of extension to a second year.

This call is key for the international artistic community, and AC/E maintains its commitment to facilitating mobility by providing financial support to selected Spanish artists so they can fully benefit from the entire residency period.

A Space for Research and Experimentation

The Rijksakademie hosts around fifty artists annually, offering a unique environment for the research, experimentation, and production of contemporary art. Resident artists have access to:

An individual studio.

A working budget and stipend.

Access to the academy's extensive research and production infrastructure, including specialized workshops and technical assistance.

AC/E's goal is to ensure that Spanish talent has access to and can maximize this opportunity, which serves as a powerful accelerator for consolidating careers in the European and international contemporary art scene.
