Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) is collaborating with the Association of Directors of Contemporary Art Museums of Spain (ADACE) on the organization of its III International Congress, which will be held under the theme "Uncertain Times."
This key professional gathering for the sector will take place at the Federico García Lorca Centre in Granada on November 21, 22, and 23, 2025.
Strategic Dialogue for ADACE's 20th Anniversary
Coinciding with its 20th anniversary, the congress stands as an essential platform for reflection and cooperation, bringing together sector professionals to discuss achievements and, above all, to address the major challenges and opportunities facing museum management in a globalized and digitized environment.
ADACE focuses on the key management functions for the improvement and proper functioning of museum institutions. In this context, the III Congress is structured around three fundamental areas of analysis:
Governance: Reflecting on institutional structures and leadership.
Collections: Debating their evolution, conservation, and social relevance.
Sustainability and Technology: Exploring the future of museums in the face of environmental challenges and advanced digitalization.
AC/E shares the interest in participating in the conclusions of this congress, recognizing its contribution to designing a more sustainable, inclusive, and technologically advanced future for contemporary art museums, and reaffirming their essential role in today's society.
