AC/E supports a new edition of the Irudika Residencies, an initiative framed within the international professional meeting of illustration aimed at fostering networking, cultural exchange, and contemporary creation in the fields of illustration and graphic animation.

For the 2027 call, the selection jury awarded creator Limi Xiao in the illustration category for her project What Catches My Eye. An Observational Archive Across Cities, while visual artist Adela del Real García was selected in the graphic animation category for her proposal Estoy esperando una llamada.

Thanks to institutional support and the network of partner organizations, both artists will develop their projects during an itinerant residency taking place from March 3 to May 22 across host spaces in Angoulême (France), Zapopan (Mexico), and Bilbao (BilbaoArte). This collaborative process will conclude with a final exhibition presenting the residency outcomes in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
