Jazzahead! 2026

Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) reaffirms its commitment to the internationalization of the music sector by supporting, once again, the presence of Plataforma Jazz España (PJE) at Jazzahead! 2026.. This event in Bremen has established itself as the world’s most relevant trade fair, festival, and conference for jazz, serving as the industry's epicenter on the European side of the Atlantic.

Driving National Talent

Spain's participation in this 21st edition is organized through an information stand managed by PJE, which serves as a meeting point for 34 festivals and numerous programmers from across the country. The objective is clear: to strengthen the visibility of Spanish artists and foster their booking in international circuits.

Strategic Project: Ibero-American Jazz Network

As a key highlight for the 2026–2031 period, PJE is launching Phase 1: "Meeting with professionals from the Ibero-American jazz sector 2026" during this edition.

This ambitious project seeks to:

Create a stable network of professional contacts between Ibero-American scenes.

Extend bridges toward European territory by leveraging the platform provided by Jazzahead!.

Increase collaboration between festivals, promoters, and agencies on both sides of the ocean.

Collaboration Objectives

AC/E's support for Plataforma Jazz España in this professional market focuses on:

International Mobility: Facilitating access for Spanish musicians and ensembles to stages and festivals beyond our borders through residency and mobility programs.

Institutional Networking: Assisting PJE in the technical and institutional coordination of the Spain Pavilion and the cultural activities held in Bremen.

Cross-border Cooperation: Encouraging exchange projects with Portugal and other European partners to create stable cultural corridors.
