Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) is collaborating, for the second consecutive year, on the MASS film series, a prominent initiative that promotes the internationalization of Spanish film production in Latin America.
Driven by the Málaga Festival, the San Sebastián Festival, and the Argentine production company Orca Films, MASS presents a selection of six recent Spanish feature films that have shone in the official sections of both festivals, bringing Spanish talent to new audiences and key markets.
Spanish Cinema in Montevideo and Buenos Aires
The MASS series will take place in:
Montevideo (Uruguay): November 27, 28, and 29, 2025.
Buenos Aires (Argentina): Early December 2025, coinciding with Ventana Sur, the most important audiovisual content market in Latin America.
A Spanish delegation of filmmakers and festival directors, including José Luis Rebordinos (San Sebastián) and Juan Antonio Vigar (Málaga), will travel to foster dialogue with the Uruguayan and Argentine industries.
