Primer Test is a project for feature-length films at the postproduction stage. It provides creators with the opportunity to meet experts (prestigious festival planners, sales agents, producers…) who collaborate on the final stages of the work and suggest ways of disseminating it and promoting its international circulation. Primer Test is being run as part of Tarragona’s international film festival REC Festival Internacional de Cinema de Tarragona. The projects which are not selected but have the potential to be screened will take part in brief one-to-one meetings with the experts.
Following the successful first edition (the feature films that took part have already embarked on their international journey), Primer Test is planning a second edition to consolidate this format and establish new synergies and avenues for collaboration, in order to foster the talent of new creators, as well as bringing them into contact with experts and offering them opportunities to find a niche for their work on the international context.
Through AC/E’s Visitors programme, REC is including among its guests international planners Lorenzo Esposito and Rebecca de Pas.
