Guadalajara International Book Fair is the most important publishing event in Latin America and an outstanding cultural festival.
AC/E is collaborating in this year’s event by supporting the participation of Javier Fernández Panadero in the scientific dissemination conference, Eloy García Tizón in the international storytellers’ conference and Miguel Gallardo in several illustration workshops.
Although also intended as a business event, the fair was designed as a cultural festival in which literature is the backbone, with a programme in which authors from all five continents and in different languages take part, as well as a forum for academic debate on major topical issues. During the nine days the fair runs, audiences can listen to their favourite authors; Guadalajara becomes the headquarters of the book industry; and the city is filled with music, art, cinema and theatre from the country or region that is guest of honour – this year Argentina.

Acclaimed giants of the short story and up-and-coming artists of this genre once again come together with a loyal and enthusiastic audience, for the greater glory of literature.
