The Cervantes Institute in Madrid today hosted the official presentation of the National Plan for Cultural Action Abroad (PNACE) for the period 2026-2028. Representatives from the main public entities that comprise and coordinate the programming, promotion, and dissemination of the Spanish cultural and creative sector internationally attended the event.
PNACE 2026-2028 is designed as the strategic framework for inter-institutional collaboration to optimize public resources, enhance the presence of Spanish talent in the world's leading cultural centers, and strengthen the country brand through culture and heritage.
This joint plan structures its activities around the key pillars of the sector's international outreach: the management of major historical commemorations, participation in world and international expositions, increased participation in leading forums and biennials, and the promotion of bilateral mobility programs, residencies, and professional networks.
With the publication of this document, the participating public institutions reaffirm their commitment to the internationalization of Spain's creative sector, promoting sustainable growth and strong cultural cooperation in the global arena.
