From September 2025 to March 2026, the State Museums will host a total of 45 concerts offering a musical journey as broad and diverse as the collections they safeguard. This program spans from classical music to folk, and includes flamenco, jazz, and rap.
In the coming months, the emerging talent of musicians will unite with the rich heritage of the museums in concerts and recitals that go beyond mere listening. Each program, inspired by the identity of each institution — its themes, stories, atmospheres, or historical periods — will propose a journey where music and art engage in a dialogue to move and surprise the audience.
To start, this very week on Sunday, the 28th, pianist Irene Palencia Mora will perform at the National Museum of Roman Art (Mérida).
MusaE is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), and curated by Juventudes Musicales de España, consolidating it as an initiative that brings together music, heritage, and young talent in exceptional spaces.
