'Rendición' is a project by the Spanish artist Nuria Vidal that reflects the act of painting, the moment of creating conceived as an ontological state; a way of being before oneself and before the work itself. The search for a path towards the sublime through the renunciation of intervention, representation and color.
Nuria Vidal (Madrid 1967) has a degree in Fine Arts, specialty engraving, from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her work is present in different art collections, from the Community of Madrid, the Mapfre Foundation, the Todisa Collection and the Ángel de Pintura Prize from the Bertelsmann group, the General Directorate for Women, Congress of Deputies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Banco de Santander or Carlos III University.
